Slow down and Think about your Life Purpose
Last night my sister told me that she was laid off and from next month she won't have job, just like me. She was kinda sad and uncertain. But I thought it's a good opportunity to make her think more about her life purpose. For most people, how do they think about their job. Do they love it? It't kinda sad that when I look people around me, it's obviously that people work for money, not for their dream. Every morning, they have no choice but have to get up for duty. Everyday they need to stay in their office without any enthusiasm for what they are doing. Every evening, after 8 hours suffering and endurance, they eventually step out off their cage and breathe the fresh air of the evening. And next day, they need to follow the cycle. I believe not too many people like this kind of life, but they actually live with it. I cannot imagine there will be any passionate teens who like this kind of routine, but the fact is that lot of them are stepping forward to it. I wan't to tell people "slow down and think about your life." It's definitely not the life purpose God created you for. In Christ you must have a better choice, on which you can pour all your energy and passion on it without any regret. Of course you need to be courageous any may take the risk of failing to satisfy people's expectation. You need to take time to think aout what kind of life you truely want and plan each step to reach it. And you need to withstand all the possible frustration and persevere to the end. And you will fulfill your life purpose. If you just follow the crowd, you may satisfy the expectation of the society, but you will never satisfy the voice deep from your heart: "I am thirsty".
